Express Delivery Service

Due to the current situation, UPS have suspended their guaranteed next day service so we are no longer offering a paid upgarde to next day delivery. The vast majority of parcels are being delivered next day anyway but this cannot be guaranteed at the moment.

Our standard delivery option is 1-2 working days; we also offer a guaranteed next day delivery upgrade via UPS Courier for an extra £5 - this can be selected at the checkout stage.

The cut off time for despatch is 4.00PM; Subject to stock, all orders placed up to 4.00PM will be despatched the same day.

Please note all our delivery times are quoted in working days - so exclude Saturday, Sundays and Bank Holidays.

European & Worldwide Deliveries

We have temporarily suspended deliveries to Europe due to unacceptable delays with the UPS system; we will regularly review this system and will restart deliveries to Europe as soon as the courier systems and customs clearances are running smoothly again.

Now that Britain is no longer part of the European Union there have been changes to the VAT situation for goods exported from Britain - this has resulted in additional freight and handling charges. We ship orders via UPS and our standard charge is now £25 (Ex VAT). There may be additional charges if you are in a remote area and if this is the case we will contact you prior to despatch.

For shipment outside the UK and Europe, please contact us for a quote.

Shortages & Damages

Any delivery shortages or damaged must be reported within 7 days.

If you have any concerns when receiving a shipment, please sign for it "unchecked" and contact us immediately.

Click & Collect Service

We offer a Click & Collect service for customers based locally - collection is available from our North London warehouse from Monday to Friday, 9.00AM to 5.00PM - we are closed at weekends and Bank Holidays.

Please select the free "Click & Collect" option in the checkout; once your order has been processed we will email you back with an order confirmation and collection details.

Subject to stock, most items will be ready for collection within an hour during working hours.

IMPORTANT - New EPP Regulations For Shipping Acid

There were major changes to the EPP (Explosives, Precursors and Poisons) Regulations that came in to effect on 1 July 2018 - these included the sale and shipping of sulphuric acid.

Sulphuric acid has been reclassified as a regulated substance and as such cannot be sold or shipped to anyone who does not hold a valid EPP licence. This means it is an offence for us to supply or ship motorcycle battery electrolyte to anyone who does not hold the necessary licence.

This means that all dry charged motorcycle batteries have to be shipped without acid from 1 July 2018 and you will have to source the acid locally. The regulations do specifically allow members of public to have a battery filled with acid.

We offer a free filling service from our premises in Enfield for any batteries purchased from MDS..

These regulations do not effect the Yuasa YTX/YTZ Series Maintenance Free batteries as we will fill and seal these prior to despatch.

Shipping Restrictions For Hazardous Substances

In addition to the EPP Regulations explained above, there are strict rules and regulations that govern the shipping of hazardoius substances.

If your order is affected by any of these regulations and restrictions, we will always keep you informed and please bear with us as these rules are in place for important safety reasons.
