STERLING POWER BATTERY TO BATTERY MAINTAINER BM12123

Automatic 3A 12V DC to 12V DC battery to battery maintainer designer to keep an additional battery "topped up" from the main battery - the main/source battery must be connected to a charging device (alternator, battery charger, solar etc) and the charging device must be switched on.

NB - this unit is really only suitable for maintaining a charge in a battery - it is not suitable if a heavy load is attached or for charging a drained battery.

Is there a risk that this unit drain my main car battery?
No, it will not drain your main battery as it will only operate if the source battery is connected to a charging source and is above 13.3V - below that level it will automatically cut out to protect your main battery.
