This is a replacement battery for BMW 519-901-017

A high quality sealed maintenance free battery from Numax/Lucas to replace the original Exide 19 Ah or 20Ah "Gel" battery fitted in most recent BMW motorcycle models.

It also can be used as a maintenance-free upgrade for the older wet-type 51814 and 51913 batteries from Varta, Yuasa and Exide which were fitted in many earlier BMW motorcycle models. This upgrade however is only possible subject to checking the suitability of the battery as described below.

PLEASE NOTE: Some original-fit BMW batteries in this size were 82mm wide only at one point near the top of the casing and were slightly narrower (77mm) at the base. This replacement battery is 82mm wide all the way from it's base right to the top.
In most cases this minor difference is not important but in a few BMW models the battery tray is slightly too small for this battery to be fitted without modification to the tray so we strongly recommend that if you want to fit this battery you check first that it is suitable for your requirements before ordering it.
