Panasonic Company Information.
Panasonic was founded by Konosuke Matsushita in 1918 to sell duplex lamp sockets. In 1927 it branched out and started to sell produced a bicycle lamp and continued to expand its product line during the Second World War. The Panasonic brand was first used in 1961 when the company expanded into the USA market to sell television sets and finally entered the European market in 1979.
