Honda Motorcycles - Company History
Honda Motor Company is the world's largest manufacturer of motorcycles as well as a significant player in the car, engine, aerospace, robotics and motorbike industries.
Honda uses their motor racing interests as a spur for technological development for their industrial and consumer motor products with their first race was the Isle of Man TT in 1959. It wasn't until 1961 for Honda to win their first Grand Prix in the 125 and 250 cc classes.
However, Honda isn't all about power machines. They do also make smaller motorcycles such as the very small C100, CB 50, Monkey 50cc, and the XB50.
The CL100 S Scrambler has a slightly larger engine at 100 cc and the SH150 with a 150 cc engine. With a 200 cc engine there's the TR200". The RVF400 is a model that will extends the engine capacity to something a bit more useful, and the XL650V Transalp starting to get a bit of grunt. And if you're looking for a Honda Motorcycle with a fair bit of power then try the Varadero XL1000VA and for those that wish to do some cruising then the GL1100 Gold Wing is a fantastic motorcycle. For those that like the ability to drive quickly (and of course legally) then there's the RC51.
