When selecting hearing aid batteries it’s important to make sure that you buy the relevant ones for your particular hearing aid. Thankfully hearing aid battery manufacturers colour-code the labels, and these are the correct colours for each particular battery:
- Duracell 10 – Yellow tab ______
- Duracell 13 – Orange tab ______
- Duracell 312 – Brown tab ______
- Duracell 675 – Blue tab ______
The important point to note is that the colour-coding system works across all brands of hearing aid batteries. Thus, if you are looking to save money by buying your replacement batteries for less, it’s simply a case of ensuring you have the correct tab.
